Vermont Vets Town Halls

Statewide coordinator and communications lead for Vermont Vets Town Halls, community forums that create space for veterans to share what their service means to them while inviting non-veterans to attend and listen.

After attending a Vets Town Hall in New Hampshire in 2016, I helped bring the first Vermont Vets Town Hall to Burlington’s Contois Auditorium in 2017, working with local veterans and organizations to organize the event. Since then, I’ve supported Vets Town Halls across the state, including events in Bennington, Brattleboro, Burlington, Charlotte, Colchester, Middlesex, Montpelier, Newport, Rutland, South Burlington, and St. Johnsbury.

I manage statewide communications for Vermont events, including press outreach, vtvetstownhall.org, email outreach, and social media, and collaborate with local organizers on publicity, community engagement, and event management. For Chittenden County events, I also support budgeting and venue coordination.
